About Me

My name is Whitney Hess.
My family lives in Pleasant Grove, UT (about a mile northeast of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple).
I am the oldest of 5 kids.
Sam is 17 and his life revolves around soccer.
Hailey is 14 and loves soccer hanging out with her friends.
Sadie is 12 loves soccer and anything girly.
Ben is 9 loves soccer and futsal.
So yeah, basically I'm the outcast of the family for not playing soccer. :)

My Dad was born and raised in Bountiful, UT and went to BYU. He served a mission in Leon, Mexico.
My Mom was born and raised in Orem, UT and went to Snow College. She served a mission in Fukuoka, Japan.

I graduated from American Fork High School in May of 2015.
In high school I played volleyball and served as a Student Body Officer.
I lived on campus at BYU for summer and fall semesters and had a blast!

Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to serve a mission just like my parents.
When they changed the missionary age in 2012, I could not wait to submit my papers in a few years.
Well time flew by and I opened my call on September 12, 2015.
I will be serving in the Italy Rome Mission!
I report to the Provo MTC on February 3rd, 2016 and will be speaking Italian.
I couldn't be more excited to share the happiness of the gospel in Italy!
